on breaking oath
Cop chiefs of America now break their oath to preserve the nation's own Constitution for their standing armies in black fabric clothed destroy Liberty for all – everyone. This foul cheap aggression will not stand for long, for there are vast multitudes, great unarmed throngs, who take to the streets to protest what cops do when they break Amendments I VI VIII and II. Each swine made a pledge to uphold what is Right, to protect the innocent (not cause them fright), to hold themselves to pure and higher standards than worthless effluvia or mere rank turds. Cops kill more Ynki than Arab terrorists; they maim pregnant women teenagers and kids; they think themselves above the established laws; the System protects them, for it's truly flawed. To speak out is deadly to stand up the same, but still we do instead of lying ashamed on beds we all made up when Saudis – those cowards – did fly U.S. airplanes into the Twin Towers. Just after those harrowing terror events did the common citizen quickly relent and give up Protections long granted to him that the Founding Persons did fight for, and win. So take up a banner and march in the streets and record your actions in blogposts and tweets to prove to the generations yet to come that we at least tried to undo damage done.

foxtrot tango whiskey
In the movie The Dark Knight starring Heath Ledger and Christian Bale, Michael Cane's character sums up the Joker's actions with a single, iconic sentence, saying, “Some men, Mr. Wayne, just want to watch the world burn.” To some degree, my desires mirror those of that green-haired maniac; on some level, I think that the most expedient and the simplest way for us to return balance to our world and to curtail mankind's dangerous over-expansion is to stop trying to control things that are wholly out of our control (such as human economic and moral behavior) and return to a state of blessed anarchy.
Hence, the title of this piece: foxtrot tango whiskey, or fuck the world, which is often abbreviated as FTW. Less a declaration of intent and more a general musing, the roots of this desire to foxtrot tango whiskey stretch all the way back to the anarchist who changed the world by blowing up Prince Franz Ferdinand while that pompous ass was being driven through Sarajevo. Beyond this bold act that tipped the West into its First World War and set the stage for today's Ynki supremacy, I look at the United States of America and our own early anarchism, a bygone state of total liberty that was first truly tested, and first truly crushed, under the jackboot of Northern aggression during the 1860s. Before that time, the federal government had operated as it was designed to operate – as an entity tasked with negotiating foreign trade agreements and with making sure no foreign power invaded our soil. Then, however, a dozen states decided that they wanted to pursue a course other than that of their neighbors to to the north, and they split off from the Union, forming their own nation on this continent's lower half.
Why not let the South split off and follow its own path? Why force it to stay in the Union? Why spill the blood of hundreds of thousands of strong and otherwise productive men in order to try to coerce a people into doing something they had decided they no longer wanted to do? As we saw in the most recent presidential election, the old schisms still exist, with the same exact states that once made up the Confederacy voting overwhelmingly for a religiously and socially conservative candidate who spoke of curtailing immigration and keeping America American (whatever that means) and the remaining states, those of the Northeast and the West, voting for a president who at least seems to be a bit more conscious of the reasons for why our Constitution was drafted in the first place, among them to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity. I hear in the news talk of secession among a number of groups scattered across the South, and I say let them go, if that is what they wish to do. Why waste more blood and more treasure trying to force people to stay where they don't want to stay? If history is any sort of guide, we can deduce that people will forever yearn to be free, and that the sooner they are granted that freedom, the better off they and their neighbors will be. If we all just fucked the world a little bit each day, I hazard that we would get up in each others' business with less frequency and pass fewer laws to regulate personal and professional behavior, preferring to let inherent human forces work things out than to try and micromanage a nation from giant, gilded palaces built on swampland next to the Potomac. So today, if only for a moment, foxtrot tango whiskey, and help make things better for everyone. Mahalo.

Obama v Romney
I watched Messieurs Romney and Obama engage in debate on the evening of 03OCT2012. Against my better judgment, I read three different articles before the event occurred (two from American sources, one from Germany), articles that analyzed the candidates' backgrounds and spoke of the varying importance of debates in general and the great importance – for Mitt Romney, at least – of this first of three direct conversations he is set to have with our current Supreme Leader. (I consider the omission from this debate of the other candidates who are running for president, those for example from the Green or Libertarian parties, to be proof of blatant favoritism and evidence of the rampant corruption that exists within our rotten excuse for a democratic process for electing national leadership.) Most ire against America's one-party-system aside, my first impression from last night's debate was just how well the two men had memorized large quanta of data.
The debate consisted largely of the incumbent and his challenger spouting numbers at each other without ever really slinging proper mud; over and over again Romney brought up a sum of 716 billion that ObamaCare supposedly would take from MediCare, allegations Obama did not refute. The President seemed smug and overconfident, standing around idly while his opponent repeated one falsehood after another, with the Governor becoming so condescending that I could hardly stand to keep watching. Obama was slick of tongue and made frequent references to individual Americans whom his policies had supposedly helped, and he made a point to speak into the camera at different times, claiming to address the American people directly; Romney was having none of it, though, latching himself onto his opponent's scruff and tearing into him with the ferocity of a religious-extremist white Republican. At the end of the debate, as Jim Lehrer excused himself into perpetual anonymity, Mitt's family mounted the stage (I only saw Michelle Obama, not their daughters), with Romney pointing out his five sons, having completely failed to mention at any point during the debate that he had daughters. (Perhaps this was an attempt to shield from lustful gazes the one gorgeous female by his side, a stunning young lady with a wide mouth and glittering eyes, but it was more than likely an indication of the value that Mitt puts on persons who happen to have two (2) X chromosomes.)
As the debate focused on the economy, I was hardly surprised that neither candidate addressed our nation's underlying problems, these being unconstitutional federal expansion, excessive presidential power, failure to properly secure the Blessings of Liberty, prosecution of individuals for pursuing their Happiness, giving hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars to a military-industrial-complex that survives only when we are at war, and erosion of the rights of Ynki women to the contents of their stomachs and of homosexual Americans to marry. If it was among Romney's goals to show that his would be the better way, that his would be the more logical choice for the next four years, that his ideas and his vision would trump those of the incumbent, he failed miserably; such was the similarity of the two men, such was their overlap, that one could easily make the argument for staying with Obama rather than shifting the enormous weight of our hopes and dreams onto Romney's untested shoulders. These are all just my opinions, though, and opinions are dangerous things, so I shall stop, for now, so as to reexamine my modus operandi and make adjustments. Mahalo.

on losing a single vote
I shall not vote during this presidential election cycle. Normally, in the past, I made sure to cast my ballot one way or the other, even if I resided in a state in which, due to my being in the clear political minority, my vote did not count. (Why are there instances in which votes do not count, and why are there only two parties to represent the political interests of over one hundred and fifty millions of individual voters? America's system of representative politics is strange, corrupted, and unjust, indeed.)
Being in a battleground state (Pennsylvania), and living as I do in a predominantly politically and socially conservative area (York County), I know that I should vote this November, but our sitting president, Mr. Barack Obama, has lost my support, and his opponent – a fabulously-rich 1%er named Mitt Romney – embodies so many of the things that I see as wrong with this nation that I would sooner put out my own eyes with a melon-baller than cast a ballot in his favor. Up until recently, Mr. Obama had my support, but he signed NDAA 1540 into law, a defense bill which allows the government of the United States of America in instances of martial law to imprison her own citizens indefinitely, and without trial. (To be fair, NDAA 1540 was ratified unanimously by both the House and Senate, thus implicating all sitting Congresspersons and Senators in this, their most recent crime against Liberty.)
The Constitution of the United States of America contains provisions designed specifically to guard us – the people – against just such tyrannical overreaches. In the first Amendment, the Constitution states that “Congress shall make no law respecting[…] the right of the people[…] to petition the Government for a redress of grievances," and in its fifth Amendment the document states that, “No person shall be[…] deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.” NDAA 1540 makes it so that the American citizen is viewed as a criminal, as a worthless lout, as no better than those dirty Taliban fellows we have spent so much time, blood, and treasure trying to kill over the last ten years; it rescinds the citizen's right to redress grievances; and while federal, state, and local governments have violated the fifth Amendment for decades now by enforcing blanket restrictions on the liberty of the people to smoke or snort or shoot any such drugs they should wish to consume, NDAA 1540 deprives them of their liberty for nothing more than speaking out, or, merely, for being outside of their homes at the wrong time.
This defense bill sounds the death-knell for our country's 224-year-long experiment in individual freedom, granting our government such fantastic power as to make it the most clear and present danger to the rights of mankind that the world has ever seen. Welcome to the police-state, ladies and gentlemen, and get ready for a good, hard rear-ending, because I have the feeling that our leaders in the White House and Congress are only beginning to flex such increasingly awesome might as we have allowed them to give themselves lately. Fellow Children of Liberty, weep with me in shame as we bask in the afterglow of our nation's abject failure, kneeling as we do among the shredded gowns of our goddesses Liberty, and Justice. This November, I shall choose not one of these two evils but none of them, preferring rather to sacrifice my sacred franchise upon the forgotten altar of silent disobedience, since neither of these men is worthy of the post of President. America delenda est.
